This sepia-tone studio portrait is printed on a postcard. A rather Moorish outline frames a head and shoulders shot of a young man who faced the camera but gazed a little to his left. His hair may have been parted on his left. He had a high forehead, generous ears, and a straight mouth. He had on a high collar with a dark four-in-hand tie with a gold? tie tac just below the knot. There were two round pins? on his left lapel. His dark coat is pulled closed, but not buttoned, and he wore a vest beneath.
