Black and white 8"h x 10"w photo of the Friendship Methodist Episcopal Church in Ridge, Md. The church is a simple gable roofed building of white clapboard and a dark roof. In the gable end is a center double door three steps above the ground with a four light transom window over the door and a single window on each side of the door. The shutters for these windows are closed. There is no opening in the upper part of this gable end. There are three six over six double hung windows on the long side of the building. There are dark shutters on each window. Between the second and third windows is a black mark on the clapboards, possibly from a now removed stove pipe. A propane tank is just visible at the back corner of the building. At the front corner, three electric lines come to the building near the eaves and are connected to an exterior electric meter at eye level on the long wall. There is no steeple and no gravestones are visible.
