3"h x 3 7/8"w black and white photo of the Gardiner-Yowaiski mill in Chaptico. The mill operated until 1962. This photo shows the massive three and a half story building with a gable roof. On the right gable end was a large shaft that may have been where the trucks drove to be loaded with flour. In the roof peak was a single window. One window was visible on third floor gable end, but any windows on the other floors were obscured by tree limbs. There were five six over six windows on each of the upper floors on the long wall. There was an inside end chimney near the left gable end. There was a small story and a half gable roofed addition at right angles to the main building. It had a six over six window in the roof peak and a door on the left side of the first floor. There may have been a window also, but that had been boarded up. There was a pair of windows under the eaves on the right.
