Description

Photographic image of the sepulchral monument of George Dent and Elizabeth Mills. Monument reads, "George Dent, Capt. Rev. War, Col. War of 1812, 1757-1842, Also his wife, Elizabeth T. Mills." Image appears to be superimposed onto the image of another picture, it appears as if the monument is floating. While the sepulchral monument is easily seen, the image onto which it was superimposed is more ghostly. It appears as if there are two people in the image at the CL quadrant. The CR quadrant shows two other sepulchral monuments and a possible wrought iron fence. There are trees in the background and grass, which surrounded the monument of Dent and Mills in the original photograph.
