Photograph 5 5/8"h x 3 7/8"w on 6 1/2"h x 4 1/2"w board of George Simmes. He is facing to the left so his right ear shows. He has short dark hair parted on the right and combed to the left. He has on a white shirt with a wing collar and a dark broad polka dot bow tie. There is a single pearl (?) stud in his shirt front. He has on a dark/light checked suit coat and vest, with one vest button visible. His eyes are set deep and he has a large straight mouth. He is entirely clean shaven. He appears to be a determined young man. The background behind George is plain. In the extra space on the bottom of the photo is stamped the name of the studio and its address, noted below. There is also a 1/2" diameter circle with the studio's logo placed in the center of the space.
