3 3/8"h x 5 7/8"w black and white photo of the Goldsmith place in Charles County. This view is of a long story and a half house with a shake roof pierced by five gable-roofed dormers. There is an inside-end chimney on each gable end. The corbel on the left is damaged. The roof shakes are in very poor repair. This side of the house incorporates a shed roof over the six bay porch. There is a center door flanked by two nine-light windows on each side. On the left is a single story addition, also in poor repair. There are two narrow windows visible in this side of the addition. There is a simple wood and chicken wire fence between the photographer and the house.
