Description

Black and white photo of the grand jury of St. Mary's County for the September term 1913. This is a copy of an older photo that had been torn or cracked down the middle. The gentlemen are grouped on the court house steps in front of the main door. All have on white shirts, ties, most have vests and a suit coat. Three men have bow ties and one dashing fellow has on a striped tie. They are holding their hats in their hands to accommodate the photographer. Mr. Fenwick made this enlargement from a small negative. He pasted a small copy of the photo on the verso of this one, numbered the men and made a chart to identify them. He was able to name fourteen out of nineteen men.
