3 1/8"h x 3"w black and white photo of Gravelly Hills after its rescue by Hope Swann and Elizabeth Hoff. The house was all built at once in 1847. This photo showed the gable end of the main block of the house. There were two dormers on the front of the roof. On the second floor of the main block, there were two windows on the right and a window with some sort of panel under it on the left. The shutters framed the windows and the panel. The far right shutter was missing. There were two windows on the first floor and a big front door. The door had full length shutters. On the gable end, there was a narrow four over four window in the roof peak and a pair of six over six windows on each of three levels. These windows did not have any shutters or curtains. One screened porch with a gable roof was visible on the back corner of the house. Three women were in the yard looking at the building.
