Gravelly Hills during renovation 32Entry/Object ID
1995.001.2008Description
3 1/8"h x 3"w black and white photo of the renovation of Gravelly Hills during its rescue by Hope Swann and Elizabeth Hoff. The house was all built at once in 1847. This photo showed the back of all the blocks of the house and the gable end of the main block. All the roofs were cedar shake. Gable roofed porches at right angles to the house had been built over the door in each block. The porch gable on the right had multicolor decoration. The downstairs windows appeared to have dark trim. There was scaffolding on the gable end of the main block. There were curtains at some of the windows.
