Gravelly Hills during renovation 5Entry/Object ID
1995.001.1981Description
3 1/8"h x 3"w black and white photo of the renovation of Gravelly Hills during its rescue by Hope Swann and Elizabeth Hoff. The house was all built at once in 1847. This photo focussed on the front corner of the middle block of the house. Significant parts of the building were wide open. All the screening at the end of the porch had been removed and what remained on the front was in rags. An electric wire of the knob and tube variety came to the house just above and to the left of the ladder. There was an entry door at the corner facing onto the small addition's porch and another nearly at the end of the screened porch space. One six over six window was in the space as well.
