Description

3 1/8"h x 3"w black and white photo of the renovation of Gravelly Hills during its rescue by Hope Swann and Elizabeth Hoff. The house was all built at once in 1847. This photo showed the main block of the house, its gable end and part of the middle block with the porch roofs removed. The peak on the gable end had been substantially repaired. High weeds were close to the house and it looked quite forlorn. ******************************************* Text on verso: none
