3 1/8"h x 3"w black and white photo of Gravelly Hills during its rescue by Hope Swann and Elizabeth Hoff. The house was all built at once in 1847. This photo showed a closed fireplace with a wide flip top desk in front of it. The fireplace had fluted pilasters and a simply carved frieze. There was a eight panel door immediately to the left of the fireplace that appeared to have been stripped. Large amounts of plaster had failed and the wall above the fireplace was down to the lath. There were also big cracks in the wall.
