Gravely equipment at Saint Mary's County FairEntry/Object ID
1995.001.0807Description
In the "aerial" shot of the fair, a large white yard is visible, with a troop carrier in the middle. This picture is taken next to that troop carrier. Mr. Roach brought a couple of mowers and a tiller and other pieces not visible to show fair-goers. Three men and two women are examining the equipment while Mr. Roach sits on a riding mower. The older woman wears a hat; the younger woman does not. The younger woman has on platform shoes probably not appropriate for walking around the grounds. Mr. Roach wears a hat and a tie, but none of the other men have on hats. Two of them wear ties and appear to be in business attire, while the third man is more informally dressed. Behind them, along the fence, are parked cars. Two buses are barely visible on the left on the other side of the fence.
