Description

3"h x 4"w black and white negative showing the Guyther home about 1925. It was a two story gable roofed home with a gable roof addition at right angles to the main bloc. In this view, there is three light window with shutters in the roof peak of the gable end. On the second floor there was a six light window with shutters on the left, a space that has been blocked off, and another six light window with shutters on the right. There were two similar windows in the addition. The addition may have had a bay window on its gable end. On the first floor there was a five bay porch with a hipped roof; the porch wrapped around the building to the left and appeared to have two bays. The building had two large windows with shutters on the first floor, an entry door, and two large windows in the addition. There were four steps up from the driveway to the porch. The shrubbery was carefully tended. ********************************** Text on verso: none
