Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Herring Creek in Valley Lee. This photo is unfortunately confused by trees. The house is a story and a half gable roof structure with a porch as part of the roofline. A story and a half, but lower than the main house, addition is on the right. Its gable roof is parallel to the main house, but the roof peak is about halfway down the roof slope of the main house. It has clapboard siding. In its roof slope is one gable dormer. On the first floor are two six over six double hung windows. On the gable end is an outside end brick chimney that is to the right of the roof peak. There is a six over six double hung window on each side of the chimney. There is yet another six over six double hung window closer to the camera, but this is tall and slim and nearer the ground in the style of a living room window. Three bays of the porch are visible, but are full of construction debris. There is a dirt mound in the foreground. Dormers are barely visible in the roof. To the left of the building is a pyramid roofed brick outbuilding with a six light window in the elevation facing the camera. There is construction debris all around.
