Black and white 3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w photo of Herring Creek in Valley Lee. This is taken from out in the yard. It is a story and a half gable roof structure with a porch as part of the roofline. The six visible bays of the porch are for the main house and part of the addition. The pillars are very simple. There is a double outside end chimney on the right and one chimney visible on the left. The addition's roofline only goes about halfway up the roof of the main house. There are three gable roof dormers in the main house and one, farther down the roof slope, barely visible, in the addition. There is a large central door in the main house, boarded up in the photo, that will have a vertical strip with four lights on each side. There are two nine over six windows on each side of the door. A small pediment has been squeezed between the top of the door and the porch roof. For the addition, there is a nine over six window visible under the porch. On the left corner of this elevation if a shed roof low addition--perhaps access to the basement. There is construction debris all around.
