3 1/8"h x 4 1/2"w black and white photo of the Holmes Guyther house. It was a two and a half story Victorian gable roofed narrow house with two dormers and a sizable two story addition on the left. There was an inside end chimney on the left end of the addition; the other chimney was probably obscured by the cedar tree. The dormers in the main bloc were narrow and gable roofed, each with a six over six double hung window in front. The second floor had two pairs of six over six shuttered windows. There was a hipped roof with decoration over the entry door on the right. There was a hipped roof three window bay on the left. Both roofs had strips of circular decoration. The front door was six steps above the ground. Its screen door was open, probably not on purpose. There was a tall narrow four over four window in the right panel of the bay window; the rest of the windows are obscured by trees. As much as is visible of the addition shows three six over six double hung shuttered windows on the second floor and the first floor as well. This addition was not nearly as tall as the house. There were shrubs around the foundation and large trees in the yard. There was a pile of blocks on the left. The place looks quite forlorn.
