House on the Leonardtown back streetEntry/Object ID
1995.001.2360Description
3 1/2"h x 4 3/8"w color photo of a ramshackle house on the back street of Leonardtown. It was a simple two story white house with asbestos siding. The main building had a gable roof with a chimney between one gable end and an even smaller two story addition. The visible gable end had no windows or doors. The street side of the house had two six over six double hung windows on the second floor. On the first floor, there was a screened porch that covered the whole facade. It had a hipped roof and the entry door was on the street side. The porch was two steps above the ground. Much of the screening was in disrepair. The addition was mostly obscured by a cedar tree. One six over six double hung window was visible on the second floor.
