17 3/4”h x 11 3/8”w The pages were numbered in blue. Each sample page had a 1 3/8” space at the top for a name and post office address. Each page was divided in half vertically by purple lines in the middle so two savers could be on one page. It appeared that women could have accounts in their own names. The printed names for the columns were not always used and handwritten definitions were used in the blank spaces. Printed column headers: Column 1: Blank, Column 2: Blank, Column 3: Blank, Column 4: Int. Dep [Initial Deposit], Column 5, 6, 7: Blank, Column 8: Int. Cr. [Interest Credited] Column headers used by the bank: Column 1 Year and month Column 2: Day Column 3: Notes, usually “Int.” in red for Interest Column 4: Blank Column 5: Debit Column 6: Balance Column 7: Credit Column 8: Int.
