This is likely a copy, but it is a very old copy of a petition by George Slye, Richard D. Edwards, and Harrison Posey, trustees of Primary School No. 1 of the Fifth Election District, to the treasurer of the School Fund of Saint Mary's County to be compensated for buying and surveying a lot and erecting a building for School No. 1. Henry Fowler, the treasurer, sent $150.00 and the above gentlemen sent him a receipt.
