This is a color photograph of James Adams' house in Chesapeake City, Md. as it appeared in June 1989. It is a gray-blue story and a half house with a large dormer with three six over one windows on the front of the house. The first floor porch covers the whole front of the house and is entirely enclosed with seven large one over one windows and a center door. On the gable side, There are three more large windows on the porch, a small window next to a large inside end chimney stack, three widely spaced windows beyond the chimney, and a pair of windows for the upper floor. There appears to be a stone stairway up to the porch door. On the right are bollards marking off a driveway. There is a nautical style flagpole in the front yard and many large trees. The slope from the house to the road? the water? appears to have suffered from erosion.
