This map moved to SMCHS Research Library 06/25/2026. Cataloged as MAP 242. This is a copy of a map of the coast of the Patuxent and Saint Mary's rivers from data gathered in 1824. The map was published in 1857. The topography is minimally rendered. Many property owners are identified and some features noted. The map making was done by the United States Bureau of Topographical Engineers and published at the direction of the Secretary of the Army. Text of stamp on verso: "NARA Record Group 77 Civil Works Map Files F40 80% copy"
