John F. Dent's pocket account book for 1858-1862. The information alternates between financial accounts with people and merchants in Baltimore and a listing of agricultural events, such as turning out the hogs in the spring, and the amount of crops such as bushels of wheat, hogsheads of tobacco, etc., and lists of products shipped on various steamers There are supply and grocery lists included. This a black cloth notebook with light colored pages. Several pages in the middle are blank. The entries are in ink and pencil; some of the writing is incredibly tiny. A tab of paper indicates that this was the 2nd diary filmed.Collection
