3 1/8"h x 3 3/8"w color photo of a framed portrait of John Forbes. The frame appeared to be brown in the photo, but may have been a dark gold. Mr. Forbes was in profile, with his brown hair pulled back gently and tied with a ribbon just below his collar. He had on a dark coat with a generous high collar, a white shirt with a high neck and a white vest. He appeared to have dark eyes and a full mouth. The painting needed cleaning.
