5 1/8"h x 3 3/8"w brown photo of Colonel John Henry Sothoron. His face is barely visible; he probably had white hair. He had on a dark coat with bloused sleeves and light colored tape trim on the edges of the collar, pockets, and cuffs, as well as the front openings. He was leaning an elbow on a photographer's support; that hand was holding a pair of light colored gloves. He had a walking stick in his other hand.
