Scan of a 3 1/2"h x 2 3/16"w sepia tone photocopy of Joseph F. Stone, who served as a private in the Confederate Army, 1st Maryland Cavalry, Company C. This photo must have been taken after the end of the war. Mr. Stone had dark hair with wings just above his ears. He had a very narrow chin with a dark goatee. He had on a dark long coat with a velvet collar and rather full sleeves and a dark tie. He appeared to be wearing a vest under the coat and had on dark trousers. He stood straight and tall, looking into the camera.
