Description

4 3/8"h x 2 3/4"w dark sepia tone photo of Joseph Hugh Dent and Frances Lillia Dent taken on Mr. Dent's birthday. I think this was taken at Burlington. He had on dark trousers and coat, a white shirt and a small tie. His beard was rather closely trimmed and his hair had receded. Fannie Dent had on a dark dress with a square neckline and three-quarter sleeves. The photo is too dark to see other details. The couple was seated on a bench in front of a screened porch. Mrs. Dent is almost smiling. ************************************ Text on verso: in blue fountain ink "Jos. H. Dent Fannie L. Dent May 13, 1923 (papa's 79th birthday)" in black stamp ink "140"
