Description

3 1/4"h x 2 3/8"w tintype of Joseph Hugh Dent, Fannie L. Dent, and Fannie Jo Dent as a toddler. There was also a small Native American girl in the photo, but I think she was there for local color because no one else was paying any attention to her. Joseph Dent was wearing a large dark hat and had a full pepper and salt mustache and beard. He had on a white shirt, a dark coat and vest. Fannie Jo was standing between his knees. She had on some sort of fuzzy peaked white hat with long ties, a white dress and a long patterned coat. The Indian girl was somehow wrapped up in a piece of cloth as she stood between the adults. Fannie L. had on a dark dress with long sleeves and a high collar and wore a small hat with lots of stuff piled on top of it. ************************************ Text on verso: in blue ball point pen on a piece of paper that came with the tintype "Daddy-Joseph H. Dent Mama-Fannie L. D. Dent Fannie Jo Little Indian girl"
