Joseph Key as a boy-standingEntry/Object ID
1980.001.0209Description
6 1/2"h x 4 3/8"w sepia tone image on a two tone board of Joseph Key as a young boy standing in front of a half wall with dark draperies on either side. He had a round face, a sort of Napoleanic haircut, and bright dark eyes. One arm was at his side and one resting on the top of the wall. He had on a white sailor suit with a white tie and large white buttons on the striped cuffs of the sleeves. There was a pocket with a dark band on his left shirt front. The white trousers had side buttons and belled legs. He also had on a white turtleneck shirt, so the photo may have been taken in the winter. His shoes appeared to be black pumps with white socks. He was a very attractive child who did not survive to adulthood.
