Color photograph 4"h x 5 7/8"w of LaVerne Fenwick. This is a candid shot. Mrs. Fenwick is seated in a gray or light blue upholstered arm chair with a dark wood side table/book and magazine rack on her right. There is a metal and glass lamp with a cream colored fabric shade on the table, as well as an ashtray. The book shelves are quite full. There is a wall on Mrs. Fenwick's right with a full length eight? light door with a white shirred curtain, and behind her shoulder is are two eight? light double hung window with cream colored shades and white priscilla curtains. Right behind her chair, two steps go up to a landing and the stairs to the second floor leave at a right angle. The Fenwick family crest in color is framed and hanging on the landing wall. The turned stair posts are white and the handrailing is dark wood. There is a little white fence on the floor at the foot of the stairs that probably contains a Christmas scene. A beige rug is on the hardwood floor. Mrs. Fenwick's hair is pulled back behind her ears and curls down to the nape of her neck. She has on rimless glasses and has a cigarette in her right hand. She has on a dark jacket and matching skirt with a jewel neck blouse that may be gray or white. She has a small multi-bow with red ribbon pin on the left side of the jacket. Her feet are crossed at the ankle and she looks completely relaxed.
