3 1/2"h x 5 5/8"w sepia tone photo of four priests and a bishop participating in laying the cornerstone for St. Mary's Academy. No nuns participated. It was a cold day, judging by the coats most people wore. A young man in the background looked very uncomfortable. The bishop was wielding a trowel across the top of the large white stone. "A.D. 1936" was carved into the front of the stone. There was a large crowd around the platform.
