This is a gray ledger with a black spine. "S.E. Ledger 220" is printed in black in a diagonal box on the front cover. On the inside front cover are two entries about lending and borrowing tobacco sticks in 1946 written in blue ink. The first few pages are tabbed alpahabetic pages, some of which are used as an index to other entries. Dates on notes begin in 1944. Numbered pages 1-8 are gone, but all the remaining pages up to p. 46 are present. This person recorded farm expenses, home and farm repairs, an account with Aloysius and Sylvester Farrel, who may have been tenants, Expenses with the Maryland Tobacco Association, labor costs, and medical bills. Most entries have an end date of 1949. The last page has measurements for a surplice and other church linen. I believe this was Kate Dent's book.Collection
