This is a small black ledger with a red spine. "Cash Book 921" is stamped in gold in a box on the front cover. "Cash Book" is also barely legible on the red spine. On the inside front cover a 1952 recipe for stuffed ham from Irva Fish Davis is written in black ink. The pages are dated 1949-50. This person recorded her [?] salary, car expenses, farm expenses, and other general expenses. Some labor costs are included. This occupied about 14 pages at the beginning of the book. At the end of the book, four more pages were used for 1950 income and expenses in a summary fashion and a "school account," but all the pages in between are blank. There are two invoices from A. W. Downs Plumbing clipped in the book and they are directed to Louise Dent, so perhaps this is her book.Collection
