Description

This is a photograph of the Leonard Hall baseball team of 1911. Three rows of students were posed on the porch of a large house. The older and larger boys are standing with the youngest boys seated in front. The photo is rather blurred--it is a copy. The players had an L on one side and an H on the other of their shirts. They wore striped sox. Someone cleverly used bats to spell out LH on the ground in front of them. ***************************************************** Text on the verso: in pencil "Leonard Hall School Baseball Team Spring 1911 Front Row L to R Charles Henry Camalier (unknown) (unknown) 2 Row L to R Roland B.
