Description

4"h x 6"w landscape orientation black and white photo of the 1916 basketball team at Leonard Hall School. There were only six young men and a manager, so everyone got plenty of playing time. The young men have taken a knee and the manager is cross legged on the ground in front of them. The player second from the left holds the basketball. The uniform was a gray? singlet with a dark band across the chest carrying the block initials "L H," knee length pants and knee high socks. The manager had on a dark suit, a dark tie, and a white shirt. Sadly, no one is identified. ******************************************* Text on verso in black ink: "Leonard Hall School's baseball [sic] team 1916 See Chron. of St. Mary's Oct. 1980, p. 247" in the upper left corner is an "F" in blue pencil
