Description

3 1/2"h x 5 1/2"w sepia tone photo postcard of the west end of the Leonardtown Square during an event. There were many automobiles parked rather haphazardly and many people milling about. The bank was on the right, with Hotel St. Mary's in the center. There was a gap, and then the Duke Building was partially visible in the left center. There were quite a few people on the elevated porch of the hotel. ************************************** Text on verso: in blue fountain ink: "With best wishes Yours very truly A DeMaur[?] addressed to Mr. J. Max Newman Smithsburg Md."
