This black and white postcard with sepia tones was of the wharf in Leonardtown. The photographer may have been in a boat in Breton Bay. The side-wheeler Dorchester was at the wharf, belching black smoke. There was a small water tower on the waterfront and several commercial buildings. Two houses were visible, a two-story L-shaped house and another smaller two story home. On the top of the hill, just to the right of center, Tudor Hall was visible and the courthouse was on the left. It was winter or very early spring--the trees were completely leafless. The postcard was published by Duke Bros.
