This color photo showed the waterfront at Leonardtown after the buildings on the wharf had burned. The view was west north west across Breton Bay. In the foreground was an area of rubble, especially metal. The pier extended into the water. A chimney and some power poles rose above the mess. In the center foreground, there may have been a set of concrete steps up to the floor of the wharf.
