This is a letter Hope sent to Elsie after receiving Elsie's address from Ellen Hayes Stetson. Hope gave Elsie a run down of who Captain Nicholas Guyther was and his children's names. She brings up one potential location of Nicholas' birth being called Denbighshire and that Nicholas at one point returned to England in 1658. Hope ends the letter appealing to Elsie's good nature for any information she might know of their family.
