Julia begins this letter hoping that Minnie's health improves before diving right into Guyther genealogy. There are mentions of there being Guyther descendants with the last names of Lynch and Cole. Minne asked how Julia was able to find out their ancestor George Guyther was a soldier in the Revolutionary War Julia mentions that along with this letter that was enclosing some copies of material found in the book "Chronicles of Colonial Maryland" by J.W. Thomas. She wasn't able to find any record of him in the Archives of Maryland because his name had been written as George Gaither. Julia brings up the wills of both Nicholas and Owen Guyther. Apparently Minnie had informed Julia that at the time a Mr. Burch owned the land where the Guyther plot and Guyther were located.
There is mentions of Capt. Nicholas Guyther. Julia includes when he originally came to Maryland and some of the history he made during his life.
