As with the previous letter Julia starts this letter thanking Minnie for photographs. It seems Minnie sent her photos of an old family chair, a tilt-top table and an iron pot all of which belonged to her great-grandmother. There was also some more photos of tombstones including one for Uncle Tommy Shadrick.
Minnie had told Julia that she had gone to the Land Office for St. Mary's County. Of note were deeds for John Guyther who sold "Mere Chance" in 1790, "Smoots Hollow" in 1797 to John Shadrick and "Part Piney Point" to William Guyther in 1801. Apparently John Guyther was the brother of William Guyther their great-grandfather and son of George. Julia says a William Guyther Jr. married a Mary Waughop. Near the end Julia says that an Elizabeth Guyther was the daughter of John Guyther.
