2 3/4"h x 4 1/2"w dark sepia tone photo of Lettie Marshall Dent as Margaret Brent and ? as Leonard Calvert practicing their roles in the Maryland Tercentennial celebration. They are on the portico side of Tudor Hall. Six maids-in-waiting were standing to the side as well as a tall woman in modern dress who may have been the director. Miss Lettie had on a white underdress and a dark overdress with a peplum. The overdress had a wide gap in the front to show the underdress. She wore a dark hat with a large white feather. Leonard Calvert also had a dark hat, some sort of military jacket, a sword on a wide belt, and below-the-knee pantaloons. The maids had outfits with puffy short sleeves, dirndl skirts, and aprons.
