7"h x 5"w professional portrait of Lettie Marshall Dent. She used this image for all occasions when she needed a publicity shot. This is a head and upper torso image in brownish tones--not really sepia, but not black and white either. Miss Lettie had brown wavy hair parted in the middle and pulled back gently. She had brown? eyes, even teeth and a nice smile. On this occasion, she wore large "pearl" screw-on earrings. She wore a nubby knit jacket with a contrasting, possibly angora, collar. The jacket had a small self bow at the neck. She had a maple? leaf pin with a small pearl in its center on the left side of the jacket. The picture frame is gold with a small leaves and flowers motif at each corner. ************************************ Text on verso: in black ball point pen "Lettie Marshall Dent Gough, wife of Arthur P.
