Professional portrait of Lettie Marshall Dent Gough. She used this image for all occasions when she needed a publicity shot. This is a head and upper torso image. Miss Lettie had brown wavy hair parted in the middle and pulled back gently. She had brown? eyes, even teeth and a nice smile. On this occasion, she wore large "pearl" screw-on earrings. She wore a nubby knit jacket with a contrasting, possibly angora, collar. The jacket had a small self bow at the neck. She had a maple? leaf pin with a small pearl in its center on the left side of the jacket. Below her image is the catchphrase for the exhibit, "Celebrating the Women of St. Mary's County's Past." Miss Dent married Mr. Gough late in life and he only lived about five years.Collection
