2 1/4"h x 1 3/4"w tintype of Lillia Josepha Dent, daughter of Katherine and Joseph Hugh Dent. She lived in Atlanta, Georgia. The image is much like a school picture. Her hair was either dark blond or light brown and was pulled back tightly. She had on a dark dress with light colored lines that may have made the fabric a plaid. The dress either had a high neck or some sort of scarf was folded over and tied with a dark maroon bow. She was not smiling. The image had been hand colored. ************************************ Text on verso: on a piece of masking tape in purple ink "Lillia Dent Daughter of Jos. H. Dent and Kate Dent died young"
