2016.001.0001Description
12 7/8"h x 8"w x 1" deep ca. 250 page ledger with a brown leather spine. There were embossed lines about every inch and a half, but no visible letters on the spine. There are small light blue paint spots near the top and bottom. The book has been scanned and will be returned to the family.
Cover P. 1 The book has a cardboard cover that had once been light brown. A white diamond pattern roughly an inch on a side was the background for black outline eight petaled flowers, one in each diamond. There is the outline of a 5" oval in the center of the cover, suggesting a label that is no longer there, but there is no real evidence of glue. Someone rested a wet glass or cup on the cover, leaving a 1 7/8" ring.
Cover P. 2 Plain beige paper glued in, no text
