8" x 10" black and white landscape orientation photo of a dark haired small girl and two dogs. She has dark hair, cut to frame her face and with straight bangs. She has on a long sleeve striped turtleneck shirt and dark overalls with metal fasteners on her chest. She has on white socks and Mary Jane shoes with perforated vamp. Her dark eyes are very earnest. She is sitting on a patterned carpet next to an upholstered chair (extravagant leaf pattern), with an arm around a small child seated next to her. The child has on a light colored short sleeve shirt and striped seersucker (?) overalls, white socks and white high-top shoes. A candy dish is on the floor in front of the children. Her left hand is touching whatever is left in the dish and the other child is reaching in that direction. A terrier is snuggled into the chair behind her, focussed on the something far away, and the other dog is seated next to the girl and has one front foot draped over her foot. That dog is looking at the camera. There is a bookcase behind the chair with a set of encyclopedias and other books on the shelves and various knick-knacks on the top. Draperies with a pattern of large leaves and wooden venetian blinds are in the background.Collection
