Little Red Schoolhouse fire damage 4Entry/Object ID
2014.009.0138Description
3 1/2"h x 3 1/2"w black and white photo of fire damage to the Little Red Schoolhouse in 1965. This photo shows that the addition on the right was the part that burned. The back half of the building and its roof were covered with tarpaulins to protect the remains. The entryway and the original part of the building looked to be normal, except that there was an opening under the building that had been covered before. There was a cement block chimney at the place where the addition met the original building. There were two six over six double hung windows on the long wall and a four over four double hung window on each side of the entry door on the gable end.
