3 1/2" x 5 3/4" black and white photo of Locust Hill in Port Tobacco in Charles County. This view shows two large chimneys with the large pent between them, but from a distance. The chimney on the left is larger. The right chimney is slimmer. There is an eight-light opening in the pent. There is a small square four-light window just to the left of center near the roof peak. The gambrel roof also incorporates a shed roof over the front porch and a shed roof over a room on the right. The front porch has a simple hand-railing. Immediately to the right of the smaller chimney is a door with a six light transom window over it. There is a rectangular eight-light window to the right of the door. The back of the house appears to be supported on brick posts with loose bricks filling the open space. There may be a picnic table under the tree near the front porch.
