Description

3 1/2" x 5 3/4" black and white photo of the front door of Locust Hill in Port Tobacco in Charles County. The door has no windows. It is painted a dark color. There are six small horizontal rectangular insets above the knob and two large vertical rectangular insets below the knob. The screen door has been propped open so as not to obscure the wood door. The surrounding frame and the clapboards were painted white and they need paint again. The porch floor and steps appear to be unfinished. ******************************************* Text on verso: in black stamp ink "19"
